Once you have placed an order for our reserve and collect service you will also be given the option of our complimentary drop off service. Simply call into your nearest store with your payment and we can then delivery your goods to your home, usually by the following day, FREE of charge. We will travel to the following postcodes in the area including all starting with; ST, CW, SK9, SK10, SK11, SK17, WA16, SH3,TF9. We offer either a morning or afternoon delivery time.
Set up and Connection
Depending on the product purchased, you may also wish to invest in our set up and connection service to ensure you get the best out of your new purchase from the moment you start to use it. There is a charge of £15 for a dryer or undercounter fridge or freezer and a £30 charge for all TV equipment, cookers, dishwashers, washing machines and tall fridges. This cost includes disposal of your old appliance if applicable, (see below).
We are particularly proud of our team of engineers who will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you are completely satisfied with the set up and connection of the product. They are happy to conduct a full demonstration in your own home so you are confident in using your new purchase once they have left. Our engineers can also advise on the location of speakers, wires etc and the appropriate accessories and leads needed to enhance the sound and/or picture quality of your system. We can also arrange any installation work needed at an extra charge, e.g. Hanging wall brackets, fitting double electrical sockets or new aerial points.
Disposal/Recycling
We offer a disposal/recycling service for all electrical appliances (that we sell). We will collect your old appliance at the same time as delivering your new one and arrange for the appropriate disposal and recycling. This is included in the set up and connection price. However if we haved dropped off your appliance for free then there is a standard collection charge of £10. We can also recycle your old appliance for free if you have bought a like for like appliance from us and you bring it to your local shop or to our head office in kidsgrove.
If you purchase our collection service for your old appliance:
- Gas appliances must be disconnected by a registered GasSafe engineer.
- Fridges and freezers must be emptied of contents.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
