Our Delivery Service

If you have added a product to your basket and it is available for delivery you will be asked to enter your postcode.  If your postcode falls into our delivery catchment area then you will be able to continue with your purchase online.

Once your order has been placed you will receive a phone call within the next 24 hours to arrange a suitable delivery time, usually within 2 days of the phone call. If the product you have selected is not eligable for delivery or your postcode is not within the area that we deliver to, you can still place a reservation for the item and select your nearest store to pay and collect your item from, (or arrange delivery, if you live within our delivery area.)

We offer a complimentary drop off service, usually within 2 days, FREE of charge. We will deliver to all postcodes starting with; ST, CW, SK9, SK10, SK11, SK17, WA16, SH3,TF9. We offer either a morning or afternoon delivery time.

Not all of our products are available to purchase online, however these are usually available for you to reserve and pick up or have delivered within the next two days.

On some occasions we will make a special order for an item which will take between five days and two weeks to be delivered, however we will contact you as soon as you have placed a reservation to explain the status of your order and the delivery or collection date.  If this is not suitable for you, you can cancel the order at any time.

Set up and Connection

Depending on the product purchased, you may also wish to invest in our set up and connection service to ensure you get the best out of your new purchase from the moment you start to use it. There is a charge of £15.00 for a dryer or undercounter fridge or freezer and a £30.00 charge for all TV equipment, cookers, dishwashers, washing machines and tall fridges.  This cost includes disposal of your old appliance if applicable, (see below).

We are particularly proud of our team of engineers who will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you are completely satisfied with the set up and connection of the product.  They are happy to conduct a full demonstration in your own home so you are confident in using your new purchase once they have left. Our engineers can also advise on the location of speakers, wires etc and the appropriate accessories and leads needed to enhance the sound and/or picture quality of your system. We can also arrange any installation work needed at an extra charge, e.g. Hanging wall brackets, fitting double electrical sockets or new aerial points.

Disposal/Recycling

We offer a disposal/recycling service for all electrical appliances (that we sell).  We will collect your old appliance at the same time as delivering your new one and arrange for the appropriate disposal and recycling. This is included in the set up and connection price. However if we haved dropped off your appliance for free then there is a standard collection charge of £10.00. We can also recycle your old appliance for free if you have bought a like for like appliance from us and you bring it to your local shop or to our head office in kidsgrove.

If you purchase our collection service for your old appliance:

  • Gas appliances must be disconnected by a registered GasSafe engineer.
  • Fridges and freezers must be emptied of contents.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
